Open the settings
All settings are on the QA+ options page in Chrome. Choose your settings, then click Save Preferences.
- 1
Right-click the QA+ icon in the Chrome toolbar. Choose Options.
If you do not see the icon, click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar first. Then click the pin next to QA+.
- 2
Choose the settings you want. Click Save Preferences. A green message confirms the save.
- 3
On the QA+ Review page, you can also click Go To, then Settings. This window only has the signed OASIS setting. Click Save to keep a change.
Handling signed OASIS documents
Choose what QA+ does when you change an answer on an OASIS that is already signed.
- Block edits. QA+ does not allow the change. An Editing Blocked window opens, and QA+ puts the old answer back.
- Warn only. QA+ allows the change and saves it. A yellow bar at the top reminds you that the document is signed.
- No restrictions. QA+ treats a signed OASIS the same way as an unsigned one.
Hotbox extras
These settings add icons to each task row in the Hotbox. They are off until you turn them on.
- Handling logged documents. Yes adds a Mark as Logged icon to each row. The icon turns green when the document is logged.
- Copy Patient Name to Clipboard. Appears when Handling logged documents is Yes. Yes copies the patient's name when you click Mark as Logged, so you can paste it into your log.
- Show Task Detail link. Yes adds a View Task Details icon to each row.
- Task Detail link behavior. Appears when Show Task Detail link is Yes. New Tab opens the Task Detail page in a new tab. In-Place opens it in the same tab.
API channel
This chooses which QA+ service runs your checks.
- Stable. The standard service. Use this unless QA+ support asks you to change it.
- Beta. Gets new checks before Stable does. A BETA tag shows on the QA+ Review page while Beta is on.
- 1
After you change the channel, refresh any Kinnser tabs that are open.
Beta coding strategies
This is an experimental setting for the Coding Assistant.
- Off. The Coding Assistant works the normal way.
- On. The Coding Assistant also runs three extra methods and shows them side by side on a Strategies tab. Each run takes longer. Leave this off unless you are testing coding accuracy.
